Fatherhood has taken a HUGE chunk of my free time, so please bear with the sporadic updates my journal will undergo from here on out. Well it hasn't been all because of my beautiful little girl, I've also moved 100 miles to the edge of a small town in the blazing Sacramento valley. So I've been pretty busy to say the least.

There's really not a whole lot for me to talk about right now. Most days have been much of the same: diaper changes, feedings in the middle of the night, packing, moving, unpacking, etc etc. I've snuck some gaming time in mostly into Midnight Club 3 (88% completion now). I still mean to play MGS3 finally and perhaps today I'll find enough time to do so.

Earlier today I went out to deliver my resume to a few retailers in the area just so that I can have something bring in money once my PFL runs out. A part time job along with my wife returning to work part time as well should be enough to make ends meet and still give us plenty of time to devote to our daughter. We did move to save over $500/mo in rent, so even with a smaller dual income we should be fine.

A part time job will also allow me to spend some time to build up my portfolio again and get back into the industry I forsake back in 2001. Amazingly enough the market for web/graphic design has developed pretty nicely in the Sacramento area, so I have decent hopes of getting back in and make a living.

Other than that I plan on returning to WoW in the near future. I plan on focusing on my alts and perhaps starting an alt on Frostwolf to join up with some friends from FFXI. Not sure what class to create if I do end up on Frostwolf. Maybe a druid ...
